Looks like mother nature won over racing for the majority of the tracks this past weekend. Some of the rain outs were at Greensburg, Twin Cities, Lincoln Park, Mountain Raceway, Bloomington and Clarksville. Let's hope the weather cooperates for next weeks action!

Congrats to member Jeremy Helton on his first ever win, who won the Bomber feature June 20 at Thunder Valley, Salem, Indiana!

Congrats to member Jeremy Helton, on his first bomber win. Hope we see more of Jeremy in the future on the front page of Dirt Scoops!

Jeremy Hines still on winning streak, winning feature #8 and #9 AND #10 at Bloomington Speedway on June 20 and at Brownstown on June 21, in Indiana!

And it seems becoming a permanent fixture on the front page of Dirt Scoops, is Bloomington Superstock Champ, Jeremy Hines who continues to prove he is still the champ by winning his 8th and 9th and 10th feature at Bloomington Speedway, June 20 then at Brownstown on June 21. He won the regular feature race and the rain out feature. Then, on Saturday, at Brownstown, won another one. No one can say this driver is a one track wonder either, as he has had wins at Brownstown Speedway and Twin Cities as well this year. Looks like he is the one to beat in the superstocks for the 2008 season. Jeremy is sporting a new GUMM chassis this year, and gives a lot of credit to his help. To read more about Jeremy, go to the Dirt Scoops Interview. http://www.indianadirtscoops.net/interviews/jhinesinterview.htm

Union County Speedway always provides a different perspective with loads of photos each week, of on and off the track views

Example of Photo on Union County Website taken by Brandon Murray

When visiting Union County Speedway's site, who could not browse through the loads of photos they have on the site each week that captures work on and off the track, including fans in stands watching joyfully as their favorite drivers competed for the checkered flag. They also do an awesome job of capturing the behind the scenes work that goes in to getting the car ready before the race, the quick fixes inbetween races, waiting before the race, and line ups on the track. I for one, enjoy and love the photos and view them every week. I wanted to share with our members and readers, and hope this may nudge other tracks to maybe do the same. Fans love it! Great work Union County!
