to Tami Lawson Racing!
Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday that the 2008
racing season ended, and now the 2009 season is here! I am glad
though because I can’t stand cold weather and I don’t
enjoy winter activities nearly as much as I enjoy racing!
The 2008 season was successful! I met several goals that I had
set for myself at the end of 2007. I won my first race on July 11th,
the B-main at Bloomington Speedway. I also won a heat race at Lincoln
Park Speedway. Out of 22 events, I had 2 top 5 finishes, 9 top 10
finishes and only failed to make 2 events. Other than a cracked
cylinder in the motor, we really didn’t have any major problems.
I would like to thank all of my sponsors for their support in the
2008 season. Also, special thanks go out to my dad, Don, my brother,
Greg, John Davis, and Rick Shields for their hard work and support.
A person cannot make it in racing without the support that these
folks and the fans give.

In the 2009 racing season, I will be running the full schedule
at both Bloomington Speedway and Lincoln Park Speedway. In addition
to racing every Friday and Saturday night, I will be participating
in some promotional events with Bloomington Speedway. As the dates
for these promotional events become available, I will post them
on my forum.
Some goals for the 2009 season are to finish in the top 10 in track
points and to run UMP National and State points. I plan to continue
the momentum that I built up last year to work towards that first
FEATURE WIN!
