the number one spectator sport in the world!
Every year, hundreds and thousands of fans spend millions of dollars to

Tami Lawson is the driver of the Amick/Lawson Racing #16t UMP Sportsman
Super Stock. The 2009 racing season
will be her 3rd season driving the #16t. Tami started racing in
the Super Stock class in 2007 at Bloomington Speedway, where she captured the
Rookie of the Year honors. In 2008, Tami continued to race at Bloomington
Speedway as well as Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnam County, IN (just south of
Greencastle). In 2008, Tami had 1 B-Main Race win, 1 Heat Race
win, 2 top five finishes, and 9 top ten finishes. Tami has also been
awarded the 2008 Indiana Dirt Scoops Fan Appreciation Award and the 2008 Dirt
Scoops Sportsmanship Award.
Amick/Lawson Racing is a team that focuses on family. Alongside of Tami, in
the pits, is her dad, Don Amick and brother, Greg Amick. The three of them work together to build the
car, motor, and keep up the maintenance and repairs between races. Greg, and Tami’s husband,
David are also drivers in the UMP Modified and Super Stock divisions. Tami’s
children, nieces, sister-in-law, and mom also support her on and off of the
track.

races on the schedule for 2009 at
Bloomington
Speedway and Lincoln Park Speedway.

advertising on the road, while traveling to and from racing and promotional
events.

your website. You can check out our
